Chemical/Acid Stain:

The Masonry Worker, Inc. can custom chemically stain your concrete for a totally unique and individual look. This process can be applied to existing concrete, new full depth concrete or over resurfacing products.

This process results in a translucent type of coloring. It is not like paint. The color is created from a chemical reaction that bonds the elements and compounds for the desired color, into the concrete surface. It’s available in a variety of colors and produces a permanent, durable color. This process is somewhat unpredictable over existing or worn concrete. The reaction to an existing surface and expose unseen areas that have been contaminated by things such as oil or joint compound. Chemical staining over new gray concrete or “resurfacing” allows much more control of the process for improved results.
